How do we now define "School"?

Schools are no longer just the building where learning takes place. A school is a place where teachers, students and the community are connected to the outside world where there is an abundance of knowledge (21st Century School, 2010). School is the place where education can take place. A school hosts as a place for the learners and teachers to meet.

  1. I agree. And in addition, a school is a place where first and foremost, learning needs to take place. It should be a place where teachers/facilitators are trained to provide a positve learning environment where they can provide holistic education and give the learners opportunities to create their own knowledge through experience and authentic problem solving.
